Artist's Description

There was no getting around it, this field had a bald spot. No doubt it was embarrassed when I pulled the camera out and started snapping, but the light was really cool and I promised to shoot from lower down, higher up would have just accentuated it’s middle aged shame patch. While I think the shot made it look good and the clouds would take the emphasis off “that which will not be named” , the field kept trying to use the wind to blow the longer red weeds over the smooth parts. I told it that doing that just made it look like a field politician. Later that day I saw the field down at the local car dealership checking out convertibles and popping little blue pills.
