Finally Tree by Bob Larson

I had been out to shoot this tree with a reflection so many time I can’t count(well actually I can, I mean there all there in the folders with time and date stamps, once again digital reminds me of my failures) , anyway, every time I went out there was too much wind and it never really clicked with what I saw in my head. On this particular shoot I was pretty far away from this spot using a zoom lens trying to shoot a white Crane at the main part of the lake. Panning around I saw the light reflecting of this pool in front of the tree. Bye Bye Crane, the damn thing wasn’t posing for me anyway. When I got there, I’ll be damned, it was the shot I saw in my head. Changed over to the wide angle and started shooting. Now if I could just get that Crane to pose in front of the tree!
