Sun streaking across the tops of the trees out at Willow Lake in Prescott Arizona. These trees really pissed off my wide angle lens, very rarely is it unable to fit the whole scene in frame, but these trees are huge, and he just couldn’t do it. I tried to tell my lens that we could just back up a little bit, but I think that just added to his humiliation. The rest of the evening he pouted and talked about the good old days when he could eat entire skyscrapers for breakfast, and the time he framed an Elephant and a Giraffe all in one shot. I brought up the fact that we could just do a panorama and stitch it together later, man was that a mistake. I drove for an hour after leaving just looking for a church with a tall steeple or an old car with a wide grill just to get his confidence back.
