A black and white version of an earlier shot from Aug 2010.
The original description below.
So I’m out shooting a bunch of sunflower pictures because they are popping up all over the place. Let me amend that last sentence, so I’m out shooting the wind blowing the petals off the sunflowers and bending them at 90 degree angles and just for giggles blowing my tripod over…twice! Yeah, that last sentence seemed to capture the moment real well. Nothing like being surrounded by beautiful sunflowers and sunshine while swearing like a politician who thinks his mike is turned off. Anyway, I got sick and tired of it, picked a bunch of them and jammed the stems into the slot between the boards on a little red bridge just up the way. Now they sit in a vase(meaning empty big gulp cup) on my coffee table(meaning place where my son stores his toys and uneaten sandwich bits and for some reason a Time magazine, he’s advanced for a 4 year old).
