This Photo Was Taken In Point Pleasant, NJ. 1955-— This is the last photo of my Great Uncle Simon “Sam” Sorensen (seated on the left ). He died shortly after this photo was taken while lobster fishing on this boat.

He would visit and stay with us for a few days after a fishing trip. We never knew when he would arrive, we would see him walking up the long driveway to our house with a giant lobster under each arm. Or a big cloth flower sack filled with scallops.

Sam’s visits were always looked forward to by us all.
