Herod rebuilt the Jewish Temple on Mount Moria in Jerusalem beginning in about 20 BC. Construction was still going on 46 years later when Jesus prophesied that the temple would one day be torn down completely, “Not one stone here will be left on another”. Mark 13:2

Herod’sTemple was totally destroyed in 70 AD just as Jesus had said.
