Eilean Donan Castle
Eilean Donan Castle in northwest Scotland was built about 1200 AD for defense against viking raiders. Lt Colonel John MacRae-Gilstrap bought the island in 1911 and started the renovations to the castle that were completed in 1932.
I painted the castle in acrylics on an 18 “x 24” canvas.

Bob Hardy replied
Thank you Frank.
You have a multitude of great images that I would love to render in paint. I’m Home is a great scene, and doing a sepia toned painting would be a great challenge. With your permission I’ll add that one to my to-do list.
