This is a wonderful shot. What kind of flowers are those? I’ve never seen them in the Arizona desert. I do recognize the plant on the lower left corner from the California coast, though.
This was taken at Boyce Thompson Arboretum near Superior, AZ and not really in the open desert. It was more of a relationship between a cactus plant and colorful spring flowers can exist together. I will try to get the names of the flowers.

I had a feeling it was a garden shot. Beautiful colors and wonderful framing of the image. I love the way the two green plants anchor the corners while the purple flowers flow like a river of color between them. Really nice shot, thrilled to have it in Arizona.

I was told the lower left plant was an “Ice Plant” along with the flowers. The upper plant is an Aloe plant.
Beautiful S-curve composition. The flowers are perfect.
Nice colorful photo!
Great capture Bob. Getting these beauties in in-direct sun is key and you’ve nailed it. Super DOF, comp, and mix of complimentary color.
