After reaching the top of a trail in Zion National Park in Utah, USA a few California Condors landed about 4 meters from me. These are very rare bird which number about 50 in the wild. The condors poses for about 45 minutes and then took off off the cliff edge with their 3 meter wing spans and flew among the canyon walls.

The condors are all numbered (6 and 62) and are fitted with a radio tracking device. This is my second encounter with these rare birds with the last time in the Grand Canyon, Arizona in 2002.
