This afternoon I was out for a walk with my camera hoping to shoot some snowy things….. But I was to late. Most of the snow disappeared because of the sun. I have to come back a few hours earlier…
So I had to focus in another way, a more macro way perhaps, the way I am used to look at things. So I found this little dancing, elegant leaf waiting for me… As soon as she paused I did my shooting…. Here she is!

Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM

You are most welcome at my facebook page

Bob is especially interested in ‘the soul’ of the things without one, the expressiveness of the lifeless, the essence of material….. macro photography, ‘things’ in particular.
‘Things’ don’t have the tendency to walk away, to fly, to move, to have a meaning, are always present and do not complex, have patience, don’t nag etc. etc….. As Bob wrote in his profile… “I like it simple!”…

She is elegant indeed, and I love the way your use of shallow depth creates a feeling of intimacy. (I came here from Robert Worth’s feature of you on his Facebook page.)

  • thanks for the kind words Celeste! It’s an honor to me to be featured by Robert W. on his Facebook page…
