Nothing special with this one…. I was just fooling around a bit and this is one of the things I ended up with. But after a while I just keep on looking at it. Hope you will do the same ;-)

You are most welcome at my facebook page

Bob is especially interested in ‘the soul’ of the things without one, the expressiveness of the lifeless, the essence of material….. macro photography, ‘things’ in particular.
‘Things’ don’t have the tendency to walk away, to fly, to move, to have a meaning, are always present and do not complex, have patience, don’t nag etc. etc….. As Bob wrote in his profile… “I like it simple!”…

How you can get such beautiful contrast of color with such a shallow depth of field I will never know. Bob it’s like your 2.8 magically turns into a 1.4 in your hands. I normally don’t pay much attention to the tech specs added to the descriptions, to me, the how is more between the photog and the camera, and all I need to see is the end results. but I was seriously shocked when you started adding the specs and listed no extensions. I know I already told you this before, but the intimacy you achieve is just astounding. I LOVE the way you push your camera to it’s very limits. Just wonderful!

  • you almost made me blush….. thanks for your lovely comment! very much appreciated….
