We got some great, clear and pretty bottles that my wife once bought… I have looked at them every now and then but this time I could not resist them any more. I first cleaned them and removed the labels and then I started arranging them…

You are most welcome at my facebook page

Bob is especially interested in ‘the soul’ of the things without one, the expressiveness of the lifeless, the essence of material….. macro photography, ‘things’ in particular.
‘Things’ don’t have the tendency to walk away, to fly, to move, to have a meaning, are always present and do not complex, have patience, don’t nag etc. etc….. As Bob wrote in his profile… “I like it simple!”…

Congratulations, Bob! You’ve been featured in Abstract Lines on August 9, 2011!

I’m going to have to come back for a real comment on this. Until I have time to write on this in detail, I can earnestly say I have appreciation for your arrangement, but highest praise for the lighting and neutral background used.

  • that is wonderful Richard! thank you very much!

I have to laugh at myself Bob. I saw the thumbnail to this in my feed and clicked as fast as possible, “oooooooh! Fantastic! It looks a little like Bob’s work. I can’t wait to go through this artist’s portfolio!” and then I clicked into large view. LOL

  • a lovely story but I thought this one wasn’t a typical Bob because there is no shallow dof… what makes you think this one looks like a Bob?

Well it DID trick me for a minute, don’t forget I thought it was someone else fabulous that I found LOL
but what made me think “Bob” was the intimate composition, light, and where you selected to put the focus. Look at the bell you just put up recently, it draws you in in the same area of the image, and it SOOOOO works.
