Towers Of Silence by Bob Christopher

Available to buy on…

The Towers of Silence are a wonderful feature within the Wahweap Hoodoos of Southern Utah, USA. The name was originally used by the famous photographer Michael Fatali who created an instant iconic image and location with his work. This location requires a bit of determination as you must hike eight miles in a generally dry river bed to get there. Morning light is generally best for this subject as the Tower of Silence is in sunlight while the cliff behind the tower remains in shadow to separate the main subject from the background as I have done in this image. The Wahweap Hoodoos area is a wonderful place to hike and photograph.

Bob Christopher is a photographer based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He travels extensively throughout the world and, as a result, has the opportunity to capture a host of beautiful images from all parts of the globe. Bob’s photographic ability, passion, creativity and attention to detail make his images very desireable for the collector and the home decorator alike.

I’d say that’s a great reward after a long hike! Nicely done :)
