The lighting is fabulous here – nice sharpness with that lens. I haven’t tried Sigma for years and years – perhaps it’s time to break out of my all-Canon mode.

hey jan…so far, having shot with both, i must say i think the sigma is sharper (it better be…it’s quite a bit more expensive). in addition, cuz of the longer focal length, it gives a longer depth of field. i also find the focusing finer and easier to hit the spot the first time! while doing research on the lens i found that some die-hard canon users had actually traded in their 100 macros in favor of this one…the sigma 150 f2.8 macro.
