Recently went on a cruise and the first port of call were the Grand Caymans.
This is a single shot HDR photo of a sunrise as we were docking. (Created one +2 exposure and one -2 exposure, then blended and mapped in Photomatix Pro)
Taken with my Canon 5D MkII and a 16-35mm 2.8L Lens that I rented for the vacation.
Technical:
Aperture: f/5
Shutter: 1/125
ISO: 100
16-35 @ 16mm

stunning…..utterly serene
Thank you John, even though we were close to port, everything seemed to drift away and go silent when you went out onto the deck and overlooked this. Thanks for the favorite as well!

Lovely :) I really wish someone would move sunrises to a little bit later!
If only it were that easy… Lol
You could just, you know, get up earlier?
Thanks for the comment as always!

Very impressive shot bro! Colours are off the chart! Keep them coming!
Thanks!
I like the subtly reflected cloud on the left. I think just that little bit adds a lot to the picture.

Wonderful processes Jonathan. I love the softer look with the HDR and the Tone Mapping. Excellent job. Kathy :)
