Two beetles (there ya go Kane :) LOL) that were in the process of making love, and I had to rudely interrupt with the clicking shutter. Don’t like where the focus is on this one. Stupid AF. LOL.
Not bugs. Japanese Beetles (Popillia japonica). True Bugs are order Hemiptera, Beetles are Coleoptera.
Your a stickler about people getting those types of things right aren’t you? LOL. I’ll change it just for you Kane. I thought they were beetles, but I always just considered them bugs. But now I know that beetles and “bugs” are different orders.
Hey man, you can title your pictures whatever you want. I just thought you might like to know their name. I just learned most of this insect stuff in the past year as I was trying to get the titles right for my photos. I’m doing a nature photography website so I want the names to be scientifically accurate. But I won’t make comments like that if it “bugs” you.
No Kane it’s fine. Actually, I don’t mind learning them. I’m just giving you a hard time.

Hi Jonathan!….Thanks for your comment! I read your profile….and I applaud you for trying “natural” photography! I do have one program to suggest to you…it is Free. Download from Google. It is what I use. Picasa 2. You have very fine photos…but if you want to experiment, a bit….with cropping, and bumping up colors, etc…without the photoshop feel, you might like this! I like your beetles! Thanks for stopping by! Vanessa
Thank you Vanessa. Can you download Picasa 2 for Mac? I am currently using Aperture which is a professional grade photo enhancement program, but not with the fun stuff that CS2-3 comes with. Thank you for taking the time to look through my work and read my profile. I will return the favor when I get some time. :)
