This was a quick point and shoot picture that I took from across the road when my dad and I took a trip up to Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) a little over a year ago in about March.
We had the top down (and it got a little chilly at the very top), but we decided anyways to stop at this particular place because of a large snowbank that had everyones attention on the other side.
When we were walking back down, I had a moment of “brilliance” and saw our car waiting to be captured.
I really like how the car itself is kind of in the shadows and you can see the outlines against the mountains in the back.

beautiful car!
i bet that was a cool trip, i love the rockies.
the mountains almost look like a backdrop, which looks really cool against the car and the pavement!
Thanks Joy. It was a fun trip, I’ve been up there before, but never in a convertible and a car that can handle more than 1G worth of turning. Windy roads + most road hugging production car in america = one fun ride.
