Everyday in the streets of Peru, we would see girls like these. Their “job” is to walk around and find tourists. They will let you take pictures of them and their alpaca, but then they want money for it. They are cute, but this happens a lot in Peru.
Tell me about it! ;o) One pair of girls and their llama posed for us, we paid one girl (for both of them) and she ran off with the money and the llama leaving the other girl behind demanding more money! Backed up by the surrounding locals, we told her to go after her “friend” for her share. I love the expression you caught here – captures the more mercenary aspect to this tourist enterprise. Shame as the Peruvians are lovely people.

Great capture!
Please consider adding this image to the All About Alpacas! group
I’d pay for them to model – no doubt! This is such a colorful shot it caught my eye right away. I wouldn’t mind visiting Peru either! :) Nice work.
Peru was amazing… I would love to go back.
However, I have to say that the Galapagos Islands have been the most incredible place I’ve been to.
Thanks for the comment! :)
