Why can’t we honestly say, "Here is a painting I did. I have done my best and I do hope you like it."

Most of the lengthy sermons went over my little head and I spent a lot of time admiring the stained-glass windows

I am sure you will agree that it would have been a shame if I’d destroyed those little sketches.

As I grow older though, I am accepting that instead of wishing and hoping for skills I do not have, maybe I should be learning how to make the most of what skills I do have.
