This is a picture of the Ridley Arms Hotel in Blyth, Northumberland, England. All I had to go from was an old pencil sketch someone did many decades ago and a newspaper cutting showing a black and white photo of the pub when it was halfway through being demolished in the 1960s. The colours are based on the style of local buildings. I used artistic licence for the chimneys, making them of red brick instead of grey stone, to contrast better with the blue sky. I used coloured pencils on A3 sized paper.
