More 3D than normal Dave. The shadows are very effective, as are is the lighting on the stones which give a lot of form and depth. Like myself, I think you’re getting well into coloured pencils. Are the dots on the hills large ants marching?
Thanks Brian. I try not to be tied to always using shadows and depth, but I do use them when I feel it is appropriate. The dots on the hill are just stylised lines.
Your work sings with the use of shadows and depth in this one. The colors are also very pleasing to me.
Thanks Terry … I am honest enough to admit that I have always had problems remembering to include shadows … too much Beardsley and Japanese art when I was a young and impressionable lad in my early twenties :))

I did, and saw my guitar sitting there. Kind of scary cause it’s looking a bit worse for wear! :)
