I drew this in 1984 (I am still digging out the old ones) and if you look carefully you might spot a little bit of Bosch influence in there :)

I am a retired man who enjoys expressing himself in pencils and paints. I have had two solo exhibitions in my home town and I love Redbubble. I get as much pleasure from viewing the works of other artists as from creating my own.

if u were here in the states…i would have loved ur works in a show i have up at art6 gallery..all works reflective of the 60’s and 70’s styles…so many of urs would have been so spectacular in this show..it comes down on the 26th….just fantastic!
I have noticed that it is my unusual and frankly weird artwork that seems to attract attention. Maybe I should learn a lesson from this information. Tastes vary from country to country and what is appreciated here in the town where I live may not always be appreciated elsewhere and of course, vice versa … most people here don’t like my coloured work; just my scenic pen and inks.
You say “if u were here in the States” … if I was, I’d visit your studio and beg you to let me watch you working. I think I could learn a lot about art from you. I do wish you would do a series of step by step photos like Lynnette Shelley does … please.

lol..my studio??? my studio is my living room and dining table…when i can find some $$$ (in my dreams) i will one day have a studio…if not in this lifetime, then perhaps the next…

i could never do a step by step…i would lose my concentration…and never complete..i cannot work like that,….i must stay with it till it is done..if i fall asleep, it is with the work, and wake up to start again…
I have a study in the attic. It is too cold in the winter though and the electric heaters are too expensive. In the summer it is too hot. With the help of warm jumpers I manage to do a little work there in the spring, but most of my work is done sitting on a sofa in front of the TV.

I’ve never really studied this since 1984. I just spotted the three little men, outlined in white. That’s not white paint – I drew the lines in thick pencil and then inked in, without covering the pencil lines, then erased them … but you already knew that :) Maybe my wife is right and I DO talk just for the sake of talking :)
