wow, that a long long longf time ago-when you and me still had hair?this is your spirit mom?or?the ghost from the black lah goon fame/?old movie your too young to remember it cult following?
Excuse me Sir Walter … I still have my hair … My Dad died at the age of sixty, still with his hair mainly black and I will be sixty in two months’ time and still haven’t gone totally grey either.
Are you referring to Creature From the Black Lagoon, which came out when I was four years old?
I suppose this drawing is loosely based on the accounts of people claiming to have had near-death-experiences, where they saw a tunnel of light.
Yes, you do have a history in pen and ink… almost as insane amount of lines and detail as have always made my own detailed drawings my favorites… to both produce and look at later. I viewed larger, trying to get a handle on the hows of that great radiating texture… Also like the ET reference above to the figure… though can also see a Biblical reference, too. Now you’ve inspired me, again…. ;-)))
My reply to MadVlad (aka Walt Evans) explains a little. Radiating lines took ages, using various thicknesses of Rotring Isograph pens.

Love the gradations from light to dark, very powerful. Thought provoking. Great pen & ink work, details incredible again
Love this- amazing inking, really love the effect- I’m wondering how many lost masterpieces you have floating around :D
I’ve done about 500 pictures and half of them are on Redbubble … some of the unseen ones are rubbish, but I keep them for nostalgic reasons. When I am not in the mood for drawing I upload an old one to keep people happy, but my supply is slowly dwindling :(
