226 - FREE-HAND GEOMETRICAL FLORAL DESIGN - DAVE EDWARDS - INK - 2010 by BLYTHART
I am going through an ink phase – colour will be returning soon though :) I once did lots of geometric designs, using compasses, rulers, etc. This is free-hand.

I love drawing circles, bendy lines and swirls, something very theraputic about it, so I can imagine you had great fun sketching this one, such lovely detail! those lines are so fine, they must be very special pens you use! Great work Dave! hugs Elle xx
Very therapeutic indeed. Pens I use are Staedtler Triplus Fineliners, but Catherine Howell has very kindly bought me a set of Pigma Micron pens as a gift and I used those to finish this picture and to do my next one) almost finished now).

I used fineliners and finished off with the .01 you sent me, as I’d almost finished the picture when the pens arrived. My new drawing (almost finished) is a fantasy one and apart from a Sharpie for large black areas, it is all done using the lovely set of pens you bought me.
