My stylised version of this was featured in a group today, so I decided to upload the original work.
Here is my more recent version:

I am a retired man who enjoys expressing himself in pencils and paints. I have had two solo exhibitions in my home town and I love Redbubble. I get as much pleasure from viewing the works of other artists as from creating my own.
Once again both pieces are great.I love how you take the color one in a different direction
Thank you. Using my home-spun logic I try to contrast a straightforward ink drawing with a stylised painting by using opposites: straight/bent … monochrome/coloured. I like having two styles, as I get bored easily and that way I can alternate.
This is more than lovely, Dave!
Thanks … I am really flattered Maureen.
Excellent!!!!!.http://communities.northumberland.gov.uk/images....I personally prefer the joy you inject into your ‘stylised’ version though…. Nonetheless, this is a beautiful drawing Dave :)
Whichever one you like I’m happy ’cos I did them both :)
nice blue print, but when you breathed life into it- it came alive-hooray
I know what you mean. The customers wanted realistic detail, but eventually it became a chore and I decided to liven things up a little :)
wow, I really like these straight inks, they’re so detailed :-)) Love the bendy ones too, of course ;-)
Beautiful Pen and Ink drawing.
just wonderful dave!!!WOW
Superb work Dave …
lovely drawing, and it’s great seeing the two versions side-by-side!
I can see why you’d want to liven things up a bit… putting so much detail into a building like that is its own creative challenge, but can get a bit tedious after a while…
I have a great deal of difficulty with drawing, so I appreciate it all the more in others, none so more than here
