This is our youngest cat, Mitch, part Maine Coon and part goodness knows what :) The view you see is the close up view I see when Mitch walks up to my face when I am lying in bed :)
I used Staedtler Fineliners and W.H. Smith’s own-brand coloured pencils.
The picture is on A3 white card.

The way in which you’ve rendered the eyes is amazing. You’ve got total control over that pencil.
… not when Mitch is chewing the end of it though :) He’s also chewed the ends of my paint brushes and once when I was doing a watercolour he jumped onto my bench and sent the bowl of water flying so it soaked some documents I had lying nearby. He is a sweetheart, but not the most graceful of creatures :)
