Here’s another Pictish design I did over twenty years ago with ink.

I am a retired man who enjoys expressing himself in pencils and paints. I have had two solo exhibitions in my home town and I love Redbubble. I get as much pleasure from viewing the works of other artists as from creating my own.
Nice work, but you can not stare at that one for long – hehehe
Wow so perfect Dave!!!
I think I had more patience in those days :) I loved my drawing board. My revolution against our school art teacher who told us never to use a ruler :)
amazing design, Dave!! Perfectly drawn.
I used geometric instruments of course … that was what I used to do in the early days.
I am so impressed with your patience and skill- Wonderful !!! x
my god..you painted this..totally amazing dave and so well done..it’s a perfect thing..! I wonder how you did that ..If I tried anything like this It would look a right old mess..but you have every line perfect.
I used pen and ink and a drawing board and ruler.
Love the pitcish key patterns!! They remind me of my brothers obsession with doing mazes when he was little.
Consider it done. I have joined your group and shall now bombard it with pictures :)
Many thanks Marie. By our time-zone, this made September with a minute to spare, so I managed to get 28 Featurings from the groups for September – not quite my target of one a day, but so close that I think I deserve a bronze medal at least – haha :) I have added this into the description (above).
Lovely work. I used to spend hours and hours many years ago on similar pen and ink patterns and knotwork. Inspires me to do some now!
Thanks. It feels good to think I have inspire someone.
