…. here’s a watercolour I did in 2003. It is a relic of those days before I discovered Antoni Gaudi’s work. It is full of faults, but I rather like the atmosphere of it, despite the blatantly obvious flaws, such as the running downhill water and the flat lifeless clouds.
It is based upon the drawing of mine shown below. The colours are all imaginary (can’t you guess) so it must have been close to that time that my style started to develop … and is still developing.
