227 - BRICKERFLIES – WATERCOLOUR, INK & PENCIL - by

After my last butterfly picture Dimarie suggested I do another one. I enjoy drawing bricks and stones, so I decided to see if butterflies could be made from coloured bricks :) They can … and they can fly … well, in my little world they can :) I must mention that my wife, Trish, thought of the title, “brickerflies”.

I am a retired man who enjoys expressing himself in pencils and paints. I have had two solo exhibitions in my home town and I love Redbubble. I get as much pleasure from viewing the works of other artists as from creating my own.

Where to you get all your IDEAS from Dave?
You keep coming up with something new all the time!!
    These are brilliant!
    Cheers Neil

  • I am trying hard to learn more about art techniques so I can better express the ideas I have. You and Brian and James seem to produce masterpieces effortlessly. I’m getting there, but oh so slowly.
