85 - FANTASY LANDSCAPE - 02 - DAVE EDWARDS - PEN & INK - 1984 by

#As of 20th April 2010, this has had 10 Favouritings and been viewed 1,126 times … thank you everyone.

This is an early picture of mine, where people are made of stones or bricks. This is not a recent craze of mine, as this drawing was done in 1984 – 26 years ago!

I am a retired man who enjoys expressing himself in pencils and paints. I have had two solo exhibitions in my home town and I love Redbubble. I get as much pleasure from viewing the works of other artists as from creating my own.

I like the way the brick people and square all go towards the tree it really draws you in and the perspective is really good and the arch is perfect

Great work. I recommend everyone view this work larger to see the details better. People made of bricks or stones – metaphor for stagnation perhaps.

  • I’ve just put a clearer scan on Paul … and a detail.
