A NEW THEME

Posted 13 days ago

Hello Friend,

For a while now I have been working on the theory that not many people are prepared to wade their way through over twenty pages of images, so I have been moving pictures to page one so they will be noticed.

IT WORKS!!!

Firstly, I had a floral theme, followed by a cats theme and now I have just arranged the first page into a collection of architectural paintings … enjo…

A PERSONAL MILESTONE

Posted 26 days ago

My viewings for my art portfolio have finally passed the 100,000 mark today (phew – I thought it would never happen). I am aware that this announcement of mine will enhance my reputation as “an attention-seeker” but hey, who cares :) I joined Redbubble so people would look at my pictures.

I am not pretending I am popular by any means. Many artists here have twice, three times, four times …

A CURE FOR BOREDOM?

Posted 27 days ago

Working on my theory that people get bored looking at the same old paintings day in and day out, I have temporarily converted page one of my portfolio into a thematic floral gallery.

When people start referring to me as, “that old guy who paints weird flowers” ... I will convert it to cats and then they will say, “No he doesn’t – he draws weird cats” :)

EMAIL HELP NEEDED

Posted 28 days ago

I tried to send someone some photos via email today and after ten attempts I had ten returned messages. I then changed the case of the initial letter of his email address and he received them immediately.

However, I did a further test by sending myself two emails, one altered and one unaltered, and they both went through successfully. Can anyone throw any light on this matter please?

I…

MY MEETING WITH A REDBUBBLE ARTIST

Posted 28 days ago

I have to tell you of an interesting morning I spent with fellow Redbubbler Jan Szymczuk at Stannington Nurseries tea rooms, near Morpeth, Northumberland, England.

We met at the new tea rooms, which are a fine example of Swedish pine log cabin and decorated within with art from local artists.

Jan is a friendly person whom I found very easy to talk with. Because of the full life he has …

ANITA'S CATS

Posted about 1 month ago

A favourite artist of most of us is Anita (anitainverarity).

I have always been fascinated by the little cats that peep out at us from her drawings.

I couldn’t resist gathering some together to see what they look like in a gang:

I didn’t have time to do a neater collection … or maybe should that read Anita Collec…

ARE FEATURES ESSENTIAL TO BEING AN ARTIST ON REDBUBBLE

Posted about 1 month ago

In September, I tried to get an average of one Feature per day. I didn’t quite make it, but still managed 28, which was satisfying for me personally. This was a result of making my presence known :)

Yes, before you all start commenting, I know many of you get twice and three times that amount – you’ve told me :)

Last month I had a few things go wrong, such as losing my Windows XP when…

I WILL BE ABSENT FOR SOME TIME

Posted about 1 month ago

As a result of old age or a virus (repair man isn’t sure which), my hard drive has been damaged. The repair man said he couldn’t save anything and has formatted the drive. He may need to install a new drive. I am devastated as I have lost so much work that can not be replaced. Photos of local events that won’t be repeated. Family photos.

So this doesn’t happen to you, please don’t leave…
