I did this six years ago, using watercolour, then coloured pencils on top.

As we don’t have this bird in England to my knowledge, I had to use a photograph for reference, so surely this classes it as a “copy” by your standards? I suppose the only truly original art is that created in a locked room with no photos or objects to copy.

LOL! yes, i guess you do not trace anything. i mistranslated my language, i really meant draw, or pencil lines if that’s correct. anyway, i admire your work, that’s what i really tried to say.
