This did well last time, but I thought I’d give it a rest and now it’s back again … I used watercolour then coloured pencils on top.

Many thanks for asking – I jumped at the chance:)

the bird is drawn skillfully and the background looks like a foliage and blue sky a little out of focused which is awesome….

Thanks a lot. I am currently doing another version of this as a personal challenge. I asked Adgray to choose any picture form my protfolio and I would do another version for Exception Ekphrasis Group – she chose this one. anything can happen, but if it is okay I wil be showing it in a day or so.

the bird man of allkahblythville-yes ole vincent was a hiddem gem-
and yes we all will and can have a following,-and the rest?thats their problem not ours very good bird job, but please keep your birds and cats away from each other or you,ll have no remains of your art worksBLYTHART replied
In my Bubblesite, my birds and cats are kept separate to avoid the feathers flying. Yes, Vincent is truly an inspiration; I have loads of books about him and I admire him immensely, as do you, but I’ve never believed anyone could approach him in his particular genius … he was unique, but his life on earth is over, never to be repeated. It sickens me at times when I think of the millions people have made from his paintings and yet he got nothing … so terribly sad. I pray that God will give him his reward in Heaven, where the riches are eternal.
