Colin Cartwright
Yes a few more!
I recognize this very familiar scene, the road from the north, done in an unfamilair style. Good bendy stuff again, Dave.
The stripes and squares, give an excellent effect.
BLYTHART replied
This was one of my earlier “bendy buildings” Colin … thought you might recognise the style :)
GittiArt
That’s a beautiful work it immediately caught my eye …love your style ! Brao !!!
Brian Towers
So much more depth now that you are putting in those shadows Dave.

I love the face in the building at the horizon. Such a happy and different world. Such a pleasant escape from the cold reality.
BLYTHART replied
Martin … I drew this and even I I hadn’t noticed the face until you pointed it out :)) You are very perceptive.

WOW
andrea verstegen
wonderful drawing Dave. Very strong. Has a definite wizard of oz feel about it, given the brick road. Some good dramatic contrasts happening there in the shade and light. The sky too , makes a strong presence.
BLYTHART replied
Thanks Andrea.

Really Love This-Love the COLOURS!!!
Mui-Ling Teh
This kind of makes me think of impressionist paintings; rather than blending their colours, they put pure hues next to one another; and from a distance the viewer’s mind blends those colours together. The result is more vibrant than literally mixing the colours.
BLYTHART replied
Many thanks my friend. The Pointillists also did this. I’d love to try their technique, but the very idea of having to paint thousands of dots makes me feel tired already :)
Lance Leopold
I see the town lawns need mowing again,Dave, fabulous!!!!
BLYTHART replied
The road is too bumpy for them to get the mower across :)
Malcolm Chant
