    Yes a few more!
I recognize this very familiar scene, the road from the north, done in an unfamilair style. Good bendy stuff again, Dave.
The stripes and squares, give an excellent effect.

  • BLYTHART replied

This was one of my earlier “bendy buildings” Colin … thought you might recognise the style :)

wonderful drawing Dave. Very strong. Has a definite wizard of oz feel about it, given the brick road. Some good dramatic contrasts happening there in the shade and light. The sky too , makes a strong presence.

  • BLYTHART replied

    Thanks Andrea.

    Really Love This-Love the COLOURS!!!

  • Mui-Ling Teh

    Mui-Ling Teh

This kind of makes me think of impressionist paintings; rather than blending their colours, they put pure hues next to one another; and from a distance the viewer’s mind blends those colours together. The result is more vibrant than literally mixing the colours.

  • BLYTHART replied

Many thanks my friend. The Pointillists also did this. I’d love to try their technique, but the very idea of having to paint thousands of dots makes me feel tired already :)
