81 - OP ART - 02 - DAVE EDWARDS - INK - 1984
This harks back to the days when I did nearly all my art using drawing instruments. I then went through a phase of doing scenic pen and inks. I have phases … like the moon :)

It’s cool Dave, very mod. Lots of movement happening. Plus I can’t believe how much control you seem to have, or should I say ‘HAD’ with that pen.
BLYTHART replied
Ha-ha – not “control” ... I used drawing instruments (or is that taboo on RB?). I had one of those (not sure what it’s called) long plastic rules that you can bend to a shape and then use it to repeat shapes, then I used a compass for the circles.

Many thanks my friend. I see you have competition from within your own ranks now (Jamie). It’ll make you work harder to keep ahead :)
AnitaInverarity
Hee Hee- I’m very very proud of Jamie’s new work- he’s trying to find his style at the mo and I hope he keeps it up :))))) Thank you xxx

I was amused by “Pube Soup” – I thought the favourite meal in Scotland was Scotch Broth and haggis :) Only joking – I know it’s the name of his band.
AnitaInverarity
LMAO !!! If you think the names bad, you should hear the lyrics !!! Sadly Pube Soup seem to be on a break (maybe they will reform lol) x

Same thing happened to our son Rowan. He started a group but the guitarist dropped out and it folded. He now sings karaoke in pubs, etc. by himself. His stuff is on YouTube … I think you have heard it.

This is another awsome piece of artistry Dave
BLYTHART replied
Thanks Malcolm … and your photography is also awesome.
