194 - BLYTH-COWPEN DIVISION (WATERCOLOUR)

BLYTHART

194 - BLYTH-COWPEN DIVISION (WATERCOLOUR)

I am interested in local history and I have a photo of our town when it was split into two divisions. Using my whimsical style (if it’s not too grandiose to call it a style) and reminsicing over some tiles I saw in Spain, I did a stylised version of the black and white photo.

194 - BLYTH-COWPEN DIVISION (WATERCOLOUR) belongs to the following groups:

! 100% !, All Around the Styles, Bits and Pieces , British Painters, Fine Arts, Hand painted or drawn Buildings and architecture, I ♥ Patterns, If it doesn't belong, Images & Ideas, North East England, Out of the Blue (75%+ Blue), Safe Haven, Shameless Self-Promotion, Unconventional Artistry - 3 per day, United Kingdom, Vibrant and Vivid Color and Who are YOU to Judge?

Another great street scene, in the very recognizable Blythart style.

I’ve always wished our town was more colourful, so I decided to do something about it … only on paper though :)
