26 - THE CROCK OF GOLD - DAVE EDWARDS - INK, WATERCOLOUR & COLLAGE - 1996
This was inspired by James Stephens’ book, The Crock of Gold.
I did this thirteen years ago and never thought about it again until this week, when I decided to upload a few old collages.
For those interested, I used collage for the crock of gold and the leprechaun and for the background I splashed watercolour paint onto the page and then drew around the splashes with ink.

this one tells a story Dave…the map is plain to see with the crock of Gold being sought out by the little gnome! lot of work in the background makes this a fab image!
