I was 31 when i drew this. I suppose it would be a test of my patience if i tried to do something similar today. Pen and ink was my only medium for many many years. Put it this way, I drew with a pen from 1974, spasmodically, taking breaks of a few years at a time. I have done 220 ink drawings since 1965. I have done 269 coloured pictures since 1965 BUT of those 265, 186 have been done in the last seven years, so I am relatively new to colour work.
