BLYTHART replied
Have you read Poe’s famous poem The Raven? Most people depict the raven sitting on the door or on the bust of Pallas, so I thought I’d have him sitting on the grave of Lenore. Thanx for faving this one.

Somehow, you are not actually refering to ‘The Raven’, yet somehow everything which it may recall, has been recalled to me. This is one little drawing, quite beautifully yet simply presented, well, it does bear thinking about.
BLYTHART replied
I decided to depict the raven on the grave of Lenore … a little poetic licence on my part :)
