215 - PLANTPOT HEADS II - DAVE EDWARDS - INK & WATERCOLOUR - 2008

I did a drawing called Plantpot Heads back in 1984 and recently decided to base a coloured version on it. Here is the original:

The original version was A4 sized and the new one is twice the size (A3). I’d drawn the squared background when I suddenly realised I had to colour in almost 1,000 squares … never again :))

I wonder what they are talking about?

  • BLYTHART replied

One is saying to the other, “instead of planting yourself here all the time, you should try getting out more often; you’re starting to vegetate”.
