Creation of Dragon
Creation is possible only by giving a part of yourself. So it was when 3 friends gathered to create the dragon. They met at the creating place and each used their voice to light the floor below them.
Dinokonda placed a tooth on the floor in the centre and the ceremony began.
“’Dragon’ is what we will call you and you will be made from this tooth that we bring to this undisturbed creating place.”
Dinokonda paused and thought
“I give you my long supple spine and strong jaws.”
The gargoyle spoke next,
“You will have my wings”
The gremlin spoke up next,
“You will have limbs, front and back and on every finger a strong claw, these you shall have from me.”
The creating continued, Dinokonda gave her strong armoured skin and the gargoyle passed on his skill of patience and the gremlin his love of chaos and disaster.
They worked on giving parts of themselves until the dragon was splendid and they were all handsomely pleased with their creation.
The dragon roared with delight and excitement when he was completed and threw up his head and belched fire!
“Whoa!” Gargoyle said backing off, “What was that? None of us gave him fire!
What these early creators did not realise was that once creation has begun it takes it’s own path. For the dragon that path was a firey breath!

Great work. I like the lighting and reflections. Looks like good use of anything glows.

Thanks – yeah the anything glows was the only light source used—it may have lead to a lesser picture for it but for me it was also about learning to use that specific tool as well as illustrating my wee tale of dragon creation.
