I lived and worked in North Vancouver for 18 years and was lucky enough to see a couple of pairs of Eagles on a regular basis as they flew over head looking for food. When a parent takes the very young out for a flight, they hover ever so close to the parent and the trio is usually harassed by Crows as they try and dive bomb the group to get them to move out of their territory, but of course are never successful. The flying trio of Eagles guided by the parent will make a slight flight adjustment at the last moment to avoid the Crow decending from above.
