Digitally hand colorized diatom from an electron microscopic image. By far the most complex image that I have colorized.
blue, orange, pink, stunning, digital colorization, microscopic image
What an amazing creature! Great work on the colorizing!
Thank yo so much. It took a long time to do it, but it was worth coloring it!
June 18,2010 Wonderful capture
Wow! Thanks so much! My partner will be pleased too!
Thanks you, Dorothy, thank you. I appreciate your looking.
This is visually stunning! I’m just browsing the homepage features with my aquatically-obsessed son who is nearly five and we both want to know: what exactly is this? What was it like before you coloured it? Many congratulations on the homepage feature!Charlotte
Tuliptree-[Catalpa:)]. This image is from an original black and white electron microscopic image of a diatom, produced by my friend and colleague, that I then digitally colorize. The colors are of my own choosing. This is one of a collection of over 200 images that I have colorized over the past 4 years.
Wow! Very beautiful! What is it? And what program did you use to color it? You have such detail in your image! Very creative! Sincere congratulations on the Homepage feature! Instant favorite!
Heeb, thanks so much. This is a microscopic image of a diatom that I digitally colorized. The colors are random on my part. This is one of 24 images that recently appeared at The Academy of Natural Sciences, in Philadelphia on exhibition for 3 months. Pretty exciting stuff. I use several programs to achieve my results.
