Fisherman's Haven by Leslie van de Ligt

101 Views – May 3, 2011

As we were traveling I called a halt as we happened upon this scene. Its tranquility and beauty caught my eye and heart immediately. On this very damp and misty day I could taste the salt in the air from the sea as I was snapping the camera which quite was amazing to this landlubber and the quite was broken only by the calls of the occasional seagull and the sea itself. The rock shelf protected the boat from the wind and waves while the house has an unobstructed view of the sea and her every mood. Such a perfect spot for a fisherman to live. Thus the title “Fisherman’s Haven”.

Gosh how remote is this, just my type of place to get away from it all,

    great shot.

  • It is not really that remote Malcolm. But oh it was just beautiful and I know you would love it. I sure did. Thanks Malcolm. :>)) Leslie
