As we drove down Highway 16 West this Old Homestead caught my eye and I was just captivated by it. This was not a small home and must have had a large family in it at some point of time. How I wish I could have found the history of this gorgeous old home and what caused the family to have desert it. Hints of It’s beauty still remain as well as an air mystery as it stands alone with just the elements and wildlife for company.

I can’t stop staring at this. It says Bluenorther did the work. I haven’t even seen Bluenorther work a photo so beautifully as she has done here. I am just amazed at the sepia aging this old beauty. How fantastic!!!

What a wonderful work, Leslie! It looks like a genuine shot from back in the time!

  • Many thank yous Mike. How clever of you to recognize that I was trying to mimic a photographic style from the late 1890’s. :>)) Leslie
