So many of the small fishing communities have abandoned homes that stand like this one. Dilapidated and weathering in the elements. When the fishing industry was decimated by the Federal Government many families could no longer stay and simply moved on leaving behind homes that they could not sell looking for new jobs and starting new lives. The air of loneliness and sadness still hangs in the air around these homes.
