Talk about beautiful. This lighthouse has marked the way to Rocky Harbor since 1897. It is also unique because it is a cast Iron structure and was the first of it’s kind to be built by by the Victoria Iron Works of St. John’s.The Canadian Coastguard operates this fully automated lighthouse. I was thrilled to be one of the many to capture this photo of this landmark. It is so picturesque. As you stand to take your photo you can hear the waves crashing below. It truly was ideal.
