Featured and chosen for the group “Avatar” by the Group “Rural Canada Coast To Coast pre1960’s” April 22, 2009Another treasure to be sure. In my minds eye I can see the town Doc arriving post haste to an emergency call in this buggy built for speed and looks as well. Any research which I found very limited seemed to indicate this was produced late 1890’s early 1900’s. Taken on Highway 14, Alberta. Rebel XSI EFS 18-55
ORIGINAL DOCTOR’S BUGGY BY MCLAUGHLIN – An extraordinary piece. Totally original with very fancy brass work on sides and rear of seat. Original floor mat. Brass hubs. As nice as they get. A MClaughlin masterpiece. (Discription taken from Al Oemimg Auctions.com)
