    Beautiful symmetry! Love the brick columns just marching on toward the doorway. I lived in Frankfurt for 3 years but never remember noticing this view. I wonder if it is new since I lved there in the 80’s or if I just didn’t look?!

    Hi Jan, you didn’t miss it, the sculpture wasn’t completed until 1999. There is an interesting aerial view of the whole structure on Google Earth if you zoom in enough on the area of the Hauptfriedhof in Frankfurt. Thank you very much for your comment. Cheers
