    Thanks for posting this Susan…now I have a picture to go with your writing:) I read a great passage from one of those Mary Ingalls Wilder books ‘Little House in the Big Woods’ about a bear that was around the little wooden house….to my children when they were small. Exciting stuff. Have they called again since? ~ Anni

    Thanks so much, Anni…..yes, they called again the next evening but didn’t cause any damage. They just hung out in the yard for a while and then went on their way. My main concern is for my dog…..I make sure he comes in before dark because I don’t want any late-night brawls outside :)
